What’s Involved?
The Consultation
A free consultation is carried out prior to treatment. During this we discuss you medical history, any medications you are or have recently been taking. We will assess your suitability for treament, run through the pre-treatment requirments and discusss the treatment process. This Information is also avaialbe in our Pre-Treatment Information guide. Before treatment commences you will require a small patch test, a minimum of 24hrs prior to your first session.
The Treatment
A gel is spread over the area to be treated, this is to allow the Soprano Laser to glide smoothly over the area and helps to keep the treatment comfortable. The Laser is moved over a small area of skin at a time and a feeling of warmth may be felt. This process is then repeated over the area that is being treated. During the treatment our specialist safety glasses must be worn at all times.How Long Does it Take?
Soprano Laser Hair Removal is the quickest system available however treatment times do vary depending on the size of the area. The larger the area, the longer the treatment. Typically it will be a few minutes for smaller areas such as Upper Lip and up to 1 hour for both Full legs.
How any Treatments are Needed?
The number of treatments will depend on the patients Skin and Hair Type. Typically, optimal results are seen following 6 to 8 treatments.
Post Treatment
Following your treatment you may see some reddening of the treated area. This is to be expected and will go down over in a short period.
